According to Sports Rooter, Italian side Inter Milan and Cristian Chivu have agreed a mutual termination of his contract. The former Romanian footballer has not played since May 2013 due to various injuries.

Inter Milan announced through their website that Chivu had agreed to a deal to end his long spell after going through another operation. The defender confirmed the news via his facebook page shortly afterwards.
