India is on a fire in international football right after their dismal performance at the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers where they faced as many as seven defeats in their 8 outings.But the team's fortune changed since then.On their way to the AFC Asian Cup 2019, India has played 12 international matches as of now and managed to triumph 11 of them and drawn one against St Kits and Nevis at the Hero-Tri nation series held in Mumbai back in August.
Under Britishman, Stephen Constantine India already confirmed their ticket for AFC Asian Cup 2019 with two fixtures yet to be played against Myanmar at Home and Kyrgistan away from home.This is India's second Asian cup in 10 years and last appeared in 2011 Qatar Asia cup after winning AFC Challenge Cup 2008 under then-coach Bob Houghten.
Germany is on the top of the table with 19 matches unbeaten streak which includes 16 wins and 3 draws whereas Belgium occupied the third position with 9 wins and 3 draws making it 12 matches unbeaten streak for them.

The winnings streak aided team India to climb the FIFA ranking from 176th to 96 making it best in 21 years and the team is currently positioned at 105 in the world.The rise in ranking also helped team India to get a favourable draw in the Asian Cup qualifier and the football governing body looking for maintaining the ranking to get a favourable pot for Asian Cup finals draw as well.
The last international match saw India hammering Macau 4-1 at Bangalore to seal their place in 2019 UAE Asian cup with two games in hand in the qualifiers.India scheduled to play against Myanmar on the 14th of this month in Fatorda Stadium Goa.
